I almost never take photos of myself, but I did find one recently, so I thought I'd post it. Outside of photography, another passion I have is long-distance hiking. This image of me is from my 850 mile solo walk along the north/south spine of the Canadian Rockies. This shot was taken 10 days into the walk with my trusty point-and-shoot. Yes, I do have feet, but I was balancing the camera on a rock. This image is near the border of Kakwa Provincial Park and the Willmore Wilderness near Casket Pass. I finished my journey at the U.S./Canadian Border about 45 days later. :wavey:

Hello David, and very nice to see you out and about here. I would find it a challenge to drive 850 miles, never mind hike that distance in rugged terrain and weather exposure. Glad all went well for you on the trip.

It was a recent walk Arnab, but my most recent was across Iceland. I'm currently planning a 500-600 mile walk along a range of mountains in the eastern side of South Korea from the DMZ to the southern tip. I'd like to photograph the temples and mountains during the spectacular fall display there. I may need to hike a bit slower to photograph as much as I'd like  .

Thats an amazing hike David, and the images from a area like that must be awesome to boot. You do have feet or the 850 miles would have seemed alot longer

Man that sounds incredible. After 850 miles I would wonder if you had feet.
