On out last visit to The Wave we encountered more water then on any of my earlier visits. The high water level in The Wave formation provided a perfect opportunity for me to take this photograph of the symmetry found in nature. As I crouched down low, I noticed that I can frame cover the entire frame of the camera patterns and its reflection. I waited for the water to remain perfectly still and took this photograph without using a circular polarizer to capture the reflection of The Wave in the pool.

Tech data: Canon 5D, Canon 28-70 F2.8L, 1/40s@F16, Maual White Balance

All C&C welcome. Thanks.

-Jay

Beautiful patterns of rock layers, Jay.

I am drawn to the darker colors on the left of the image.

Nice contribution for this week's theme.

Nice job with the reflections. It is not a view I've seen before.

It's a beautiful abstract Jay. I particularly like the reflection.

Jay,
WOW! I'm glad I only had one Jack Daniels tonight! You nailed this one as so many other images, as you do so well

A refreshingly new take on this place Jay. Two big thumbs up for your creativity. The image is certainly up to your usual high quality. Nice entry.
