A poor exposure that I wanted to save. Dodged/burned, patched and converted to B&W and added some water :)

Robert, this is probably the first comment I've ever left in this forum. It's great! I love the toning. Ducklings are irresistible.

Thankyou for the comments. these ducklings *were* irresistable, and there were so many piled on the rock it was comical. For over a year now I have been trying to salvage this one, because I really like the composition.
I'm pretty happy with the way it ended up now.
Cheers,

Robert... this is simply stated - OUTSTANDING! You did an excellent job in salvaging this one and truly created "art" - this has got to be a top seller!!

Thankyou all. I am thrilled to be included in the Editor's Picks with this one.
I have played with this photo on and off for over a year, and even posted the original last year in Avian asking for advice.
I have three photos of these ducklings on the rock that I am trying to make into a nice series to hang on the wall in my kids' room. I just wish I had recorded the steps I used to create this one, because I can't get the others to match the "feel" perfectly.
Ah well.
All these comments are MUCH appreciated.
Regards,
