I was happily surprised to get an Editor's Pick award. I consider the branch an important part of this, but I think it is good advice to eliminate the merge between the bird and the branch. Now, if I could only remember how I background....

Nice color choices for the background. What tool did you use to isolate the bird/tree?

Pete, looks really good, I like the colors and the comp. I haven't seen a moon like this before so I think its very creative. I might trim the branch back a little that is touching the birds wing unless it was a deliberate feature of the image.

This is really the fussiest little nittiest nit: how about clicking the cloner a few times around where the tree twigs catch the edge of the bird's wing? Still love it!
