Have not done much to these iris petals beyond the usual adjustments and a 180 degree rotation. Hope they are ok for Photo Art - the result seemed more ` art ' than flora.

Canon 400D, 100mm Macro lens, 1/13 sec @ f3.2, natural light indoors.

The symmetry is awesome, great color contrast! Got a real yin-yan thing goin. If you feel like it, there's a huge amount of possibilities to work with this image, with some manipulations you could take this way beyond a beautiful artsy photo and into the realm of pure art.
I can think of so many cool ideas, it's making me squirm in my seat!
