Jim, you sure have a beautiful "back yard"! I was lucky enough to visit the Anchorage area five times on biz travel and enjoyed each of those trips. Thanks for posting!

Anchorage is famously the suburb of Seattle that is closest to Alaska. Los Anchorage is not really Alaska, but you can certainly get from there to the real state.
