Microfiber Cleaning Cloths

Everyone is familar with how well the microfiber cloth can safely clean delicate lens surfaces. However, in order to maintain the effectiveness and safety of these cloths, they must be kept clean. Place a drop of detergent in a small bowl and fill with hot water. Thoroughly clean the cloth and rinse under hot tap water. To dry the cloth quickly, use a hair dryer. Keep the clean cloth in a film canister to prevent contamination. A clean microfiber cloth not only cleans more efficiently, but also helps prevent damage to lens coatings from the grit that accumulates in the cloth from use.
