Using Reflectors and Diffusers for Macro Photography

In order to eliminate the light on the background, I have positioned a piece of cardboard between the reflector and the background. I started off by simply leaning the cardboard against a tripod leg, and then adjusted the position of the reflector so that the subject was still illuminated but the cardboard blocked any light from falling on the background.
